The Science of Ozone
Ozone (O3) is a natural gas composed of three oxygen atoms. It’s a powerful oxidizer, meaning it breaks down organic compounds and other pollutants by transferring its third oxygen atom. Our Process
- Inspection. If an area rug requires an ozone treatment, we will notify you, discuss the treatment, and seek your approval.
- Treatment. The area rug is placed in a containment compartment, and ozone gas is introduced for a pre-determined period.
- Cleaning. After treatment, we remove the area rug, inspect it, and then move the textile through the cleaning and drying process.
